Best parathas and chat items. Service little slow. Avoid weekends if you can. Ambiance is ok. Parking is an issue on weekends.
Good food and good service . Priced ok . The quantity of food is good . Sometimes , we just order one khasiyat thali and share between 2 of us . Thali with Aalo gobi parota is the best . Chola batura was also good. Apart from that all their starters are average . We had cutlets and they were not good. Sabudana vada was average (too oily) . Strawberry shake was too good .. Lots of chairs to sit and eat . Good ambience .
Had the special thali that was all kinds of delicious, and also 2 meals. The veg cutlet we had was quite good too.
The number 100 was what intrigued us. We got a gobi paneer paratha and a Khasta Kachori. The paratha came in piping hot. With the right amount of pickle, it tasted good. It was soft and toned down on the spices. The kachori was good too.
They had over 100 paratha combinations!! We were thinking about building our own, but opted for the classic aloo paratha and paneer paratha. The paratha was SO soft, but nothing was oily. It came with a good chunk of yogurt. They come up to take your order, but you go up to the counter to pay. We were there around 3, but it wasn't super busy.. definitely going to come back.
One very interesting fact about Khasiyat Fast Food is that they have actually 100 different types of parathas -- each one comes with a tasty side pickle, onions and yogurt dipping sauce. Each order also comes the size of a plate, are thick, cooked perfectly and honestly stuffed with so much happiness and 100 different types enough to satisfy even the most picky of eaters! This place is easily a 10/10 -- if I could give 15 more stars, I honest to god would. Khasiyat Fast Food is one of those special hole in the walls -- you're probably thinking wow that's outrageous considering there is another indian restaurant throwing distance from 5 others in Edison, NJ -- however, not true Khasiyat Fast Food -- takes it above & beyond. They have a pedigree of excellence & actually have ties to the original best of the best in Edison NJ -- they may not have all of the luxurious amenities that a 5 star restaurant would have but I bet their paratha can go toe-to-toe against any other Edison indian fast food to not only knock them out of the park but even state. Khasiyat Fast Food has an incredibly spacious interior, about 8 outdoor dining tables over a carpet so it has a very home feel while dining! As for service, it's incredibly prompt -- some of the traditional menu items are very easy so-to-speak considering you need to assemble the ingredients in a particular manner to concoct the perfect dish. Khasiyat Fast Food team -- thank you for taking such amazing care of us, the delicious meal and full tummys -- next time we are in Edison we will be stopping by first before anything else!!
